All vs. SD

I am sitting here in Skype listening to StoneDog and he is absolutly rolling in the floor.

Ohh well, it was obvious "join or die" from day one. This is also politics and strategy game after all.

Well we have been harassing them for several days now And declared war on one of their largest clan.

In my opinion the trouble with that little raid there, although very good for the first part, was poor in others because people simply did not do as was commanded. I know this is difficult sometimes but for instance in teh BAD city it took some guys 3, yes 3 more minutes than me to do a 40 second run and mount up when it was asked by the ICs. We gotta be on top of that really.....

Also just a personal opinion sometimes we gotta understand when it is right to run, trying to fight the mercs then was hopeless, i stayed as long as my mount was above 40% getting two to flee but still i would not have been able to finish them off without running through their zerg on a mount, which is hopeless. If we are engaging in that sort of numbers we need to be dismounted.. It doesnt hurt to run sometimes i believe.

Other than those two things it was really good. and im looking forward to these wars

Well seems staying on mount sux anyway since at merc fight i was several timess just outrunned on my mount by ppl on feet.

Very nice raids imo, especially (mostly) the second hit and run raid. We should have maybe decided to ignore the merc town faster. Anyway.. sorry about me hanging back at the merc city there. I was ready to head out the second I heard the command to ignore the town, but then my mount bugged. Happened once before... I double clicked but the mount would'nt spawn.

I felt the leadership was smooth, with clear commands even in a bit chaotic situations.

One thing though... Are we staying hostile to the mercs now, or will we be working on a nap/alliance with them? I saw some exillium guys in there as well.

Its prime time for the Americans. And from looking at the location of people who was downloading the game from me through the torrent. Well... It was like 70% Americans.

mounted combat looks great but isn't very efficient, we should use mounts for transportation only
also raiding their towns isn't the best idea, its a lot of fun and we can kill dozens but there is no way to win the fight
we have to find their farming locations and hit them whenever we can... so if you have time tomorrow do some scouting

we also need some siege weapons, is one of our weaponsmiths at 75 already? stonedog, took alchemy yet?
we should get their banks down during our primetime on a regular basis, and soon so they don't get towers up

Working on that Alchemy now, Beliar. Wisdom's over 30 and Herbalism's in the mid-30's and won't take much to bump over the 50 required to get Alchemy.

Mounts are pretty powerful but they do require skill.
They are slow but if you manage to score all the hits you are gonna pwn.
